There is a network of pathways throughout our estate, including the Coronation Road and Milkboys Walk. The Coronation Road is a path that takes you from Scone through the Gannochy estate to the Kinnoull Woodland Park and onto Kinfauns. Milkboys Walk is said to be the path that farm lads and lasses used to carry buckets of milk into Perth. An information board and sign marks the start of this route.
We work closely with RSPB Scotland and other agencies to enhance the natural environment throughout The Gannochy Trust estate.
You can see many species of birds and mammals along in Quarrymill Woodland Park and the wider estate. You may see a water vole – or perhaps a beaver, as they have settled on the nearby River Tay.
Please do follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Remember – take only photographs and leave only footprints.
