Our goal is to improve the quality of people’s lives in Perth and Kinross  and across Scotland, building resilience and sustainability across our community.

The Gannochy Trust awarded their first grant in 1937 and today, provides annual funding of around five million pounds to registered charities, primarily working in Perth and Kinross, but also to inspire and develop young people throughout Scotland.

Our current funding strategy (2019-2022) will continue to run until the grants meeting on 14th July 2022, the deadline date for applications is Friday 3rd June 2022.

Work is being finalised on a new grants strategy, which will be published on the website from mid-June.  It will take effect from 1st July 2022 with the first applications considered under the new grants strategy in September 2022.

All of our grant work is inspired by our founder A.K. Bell, who was a generous, thoughtful and pragmatic philanthropist.
