Stephen Hay has been appointed as the new chair of The Gannochy Trust, taking over from David Gray who has held the position since 2019. Stephen joined the Board of Trustees in June 2016 and has been vice-chair since 2019 – he took up his new position on the 1st July with Roland Bean replacing him as the new vice-chair.
During his four years at the helm, David has overseen a range of core strategic projects for The Trust, including the completion of the award-winning housing expansion, the development of a five-year strategic plan, and new grant making and estate management strategies. Stephen and David have also been instrumental in the review of the Trust’s investment strategy, helping to maximise the Trust’s assets for public good. David will remain on the Board of Trustees.
